We can help you with other things besides getting paid, such as enforcement assistance.

What is enforcement assistance?

Enforcement assistance includes help in getting a person to return property that is yours and in getting a tenant evicted if you are a landlord.

We also have other tasks

We also help with some less common tasks. These include

• notice to unknown creditors, which means we urge unknown creditors to report claims to us when an estate of the deceased or an association is wound up, for example
• registration of personal property purchases remaining with the seller, which is intended to protect the buyer from attachment of the property for the seller’s debts, or its inclusion in the seller’s bankruptcy estate
• protest, which means we certify that a bill has not been paid on the due date
• application for cancellation of a lost document, which is intended to allow a person who has lost an original document to assert, the loss notwithstanding, a right expressed in that document.
